The rain let up a bit today and I got out and rode around the city for a while. I went up to the University of Alaska to visit the Museum of the North. It is housed in a beautiful building on the University campus:
And when you enter the museum, you're greeted by Otto the Bear, a Grizzly that weighed over 1200 lbs:
The Museum was interesting, if a bit smaller than I remembered. Most of the exhibits dealt with the native populations in one way or another. Here are a few pictures I took inside the museum:
